Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Nights, in the healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing emergency care to adult and pediatric patients during night shifts, with shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The role requires clinical expertise in trauma and emergency procedures, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications and Education Requirements: Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license, BLS, PALS, ACLS AHA only.
• Experience: Two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Qualifications: Must pass telemetry test prior to start; requires experience in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, management of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias, and other advanced emergency procedures.
• Required Patient Care Skills: Care of neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics; ER diagnosis management, nursing charting using Cerner system (preferred), and adherence to hospital protocols such as bedside shift reporting, utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding.
• Submittal Requirements: References and proof of passing telemetry exam are required. Travelers must meet the minimum two-year recent inpatient RN experience in the ER and pass strict telemetry testing, with attempts to pass within the specified criteria.
