Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the designated location. This role involves providing perioperative patient care in a high-volume surgical setting. The position requires collaboration within interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient surgery procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS; Education: Valid RN license; Experience: 2 or more years of OR experience in general surgery, cataracts, robotics, orthopedics, or gynecology; Location Requirements: within 50 miles of the facility; Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026, ending 02/15/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, at least 2 years of OR experience, skills in abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, blood & blood products administration, arthroscopy, colon resection, robotic surgery, and other listed procedures.
• Additional Information: Must have previous charge experience (preferred), patient ratio experience, and charting system experience with Cerner. Travelers are required to float as needed; unit requires adherence to strict documentation and safety protocols, including bedside shift reporting, utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding.
• Responsibilities: Providing intraoperative care, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, managing a caseload of diverse surgical cases, and complying with clinical standards and unit procedures.
