Job Summary
Newborn Nursery, Lewis Gale Medical Center This position involves providing specialized care in a Level II newborn nursery. The role supports patient care within a busy maternity care environment, focusing on both neonatal and postpartum needs, with an emphasis on teamwork and clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certification and Education Requirements: OB experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
• Responsibilities include caring for newborns and postpartum patients, assisting with procedures such as labor and delivery, cesarean sections, inductions, and postpartum/nur newborn care
• Requirements include direct experience in neonatal or maternity care, with a focus on supporting active labor, Pitocin, and epidural care
• Orientation and support are provided within the unit, with no requirement for travel outside the facility
• No additional preferred qualifications or float requirements are specified
