Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Overlook. This position involves delivering comprehensive patient care across the Pediatric to Geriatric population in a healthcare facility. The RN is responsible for performing thorough assessments, documenting care, and supporting patient education, ensuring adherence to safety standards and clinical protocols.

Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical Floor RN
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; current RN license; 1 year of clinical experience; location requirements: valid licensure in state of employment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in perioperative or surgical patient care, familiarity with universal protocols and safety guidelines
• Responsibilities: Performs assessments, provides patient-centered nursing care, maintains accurate documentation, supports patient education, follows safety protocols including Universal Protocol and patient identification, responds professionally to patient and family needs, supports pre-operative and post-operative care, evaluates patient reactions and understanding of procedures, and assists with testing and documentation related to surgical patients.
• Additional Information: Demonstrates knowledge of surgical conditions, procedures, and equipment; individualizes patient care based on procedure and anesthesia type; ensures timely completion of patient testing and evaluation of pre-admission testing orders.
