Job Summary
The Certified First Surgical Assistant (CFA) profession is needed in Asheville, NC. This position involves supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties, including Orthopedic Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Gynecology, General Surgery, Robotics, Vascular, Pediatrics, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, OMF, Dental, and Eye Trauma, within a busy operating room setting. The role requires a highly skilled professional to assist surgeons during complex procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the surgical process.

Job Details

Position Description: Assist surgeons during diverse surgical procedures such as Orthopedic Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Gynecology, Urology, General, Robotics, Vascular, Peds, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, OMF, Dental, and Eye Trauma, utilizing advanced skills with standard OR equipment, including five Davinci robots, Mako, and Velys robots.
Required Qualifications: Certified First Surgical Assistant (CFA) or equivalent certification, actively licensed as applicable, with no minimum experience requirement.
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role involves flexible scheduling, on-call duties, and adherence to unit-specific policies, including scrubs attire provided. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge and skills to support complex surgeries across multiple specialties.
