Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Certified First Surgical Assistant in the undefined specialty for their surgical unit located at the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. This role involves working in a 4-operating room surgical suite, providing assistance during procedures across various disciplines such as orthopedic, general, spine/neuro, gynecological, and urological surgeries. The position requires flexibility, team collaboration, and the ability to scrub or serve as the first assist during surgeries.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: VA license, surgical assistant certification, BLS certification, no minimum years of experience required, start date of 11/02/2026, end date of 02/01/2027.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be able to scrub or serve as the first assist. Willingness to take call is preferred. Flexibility in scheduling is appreciated. The role involves assisting with orthopedic, general, spine/neuro, GYN, and urology procedures. Candidates should be team players and adaptable to a rotating weekend and on-call schedule.
