Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse - ER - Emergency Room - Location unspecified. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced trauma and emergency environment. The position requires managing a diverse patient population with a focus on urgent medical conditions, utilizing advanced clinical skills and certifications.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for patient assessment, treatment, and stabilization in a Level Level (ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NR, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course, NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale certified emergency department environment with trauma bays, fast track, triage, and psychiatric seclusion rooms.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS; valid nursing license; at least 2 years of recent ER experience; ability to work night shifts; and the relevant education background.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The ER manages its own patient holds with transfer goals of 3 hours, supports a 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio, and allows float between designated units. The unit includes ultramodern monitoring equipment, Epic electronic medical records, and on-site radiology services, with a focus on timely patient transfer and comprehensive emergency care.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit current licensure and certifications along with proof of recent ER experience.
