Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) RN The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PACU position. This role involves providing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative, Post-operative, Endoscopy, and Infusion services. The nurse will work a 4-day schedule of 10-hour shifts with a shared on-call rotation, supporting outpatient surgical and procedural areas.

Job Details

• Position involves nursing care duties across outpatient services including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and hospital needs of conscious sedation for special procedures.
• Use skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care, recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license, minimum of 2 years experience in SSSU (Same Day Surgery/ Short Stay Surgery Unit), PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), Pre, or Post-anesthesia care, along with certification as required by state regulations.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Floating to the entire Outpatient Services area that includes Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and hospital needs of conscious sedation for special procedures is required.
