Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Neuro Nurse in Pasadena, TX. This position involves providing specialized neurological intensive care for patients within a 26-bed ICU unit. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care, managing complex neurological conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Position Description: Responsible for data collection and direct patient care within the ICU Neuro unit, supporting patients with critical neurological conditions using advanced equipment including mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS.
• Required Qualifications: Active ACLS/BCLS certifications; RN license; Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing; California, Texas, or Nevada RN licensure; 1+ years of ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CV, Neuro ICU; proficiency with procedures such as intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions.
• Additional Information: The unit functions on a 12-hour shift schedule, with every other weekend shift required. Candidates should be accountable and able to manage their responsibilities effectively. Candidates without ICU experience or ACLS/BCLS certifications will not be considered.
