Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Waxahachie, TX. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the operating room setting, with a focus on circulating experience in robotics, orthopedics, gynecology, pain management, spine, and neuro procedures. The RN will coordinate patient care, support surgical teams, and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative processes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: RN license, BLS certification, minimum one year of circulating experience in operating room specialties such as robotics, orthopedics, gynecology, pain, spine, neuro.
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; Day shift; 10 hours per day; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include conducting accurate clinical assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, supporting evidence-based practice, and facilitating communication among healthcare team members.
• Additional details: Call shifts will be from 1700 to 0645, with an expectation for the nurse to respond within 30 minutes of call. On-call rotations involve 2-3 shifts every 6 weeks.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in robotic surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, gynecology, pain management, spine, and neuro procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission requirements: Candidates must be licensed RNs with current BLS certification and have minimum circulating operating room experience specifically in the required specialties.
