Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Medical Center, located on the Gulf Coast, with a December 2026 start date. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a 52-bed unit, focusing on neuro-related patients. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to clinical standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: HWL Requisition: GCMC Neuro PCU; 52 Bed Unit, Ratio 4:1. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required. Travelers can float to both sides of the Neuro Floor; stepdown and PCU side. Will be expected to handle ratios 1:4 to 5.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years neuro experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, ability to read EKG rhythms, DEGREE ACCREDITATION must be on profile or 5 years of experience.
• Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cardene & Cleviprex.
• Additional Information: Travelers are first to float, possibly to other sister campuses. All RTO must be on submission; no approval post-submission. Demographic information including full address, email, DOB, SS, and RN license number must be loaded at submission. The unit values culture highly, expecting travelers to function as core staff. The document deadline is Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending docs.
