Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Region's largest and most comprehensive emergency department and free-standing emergency department, located in the region. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical floor, with responsibilities including starting IVs, inserting Foley catheters, NG tubes, and performing EKGs, within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Location: Region's largest and most comprehensive emergency department and free-standing emergency department.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in NIH, ACLS, BLS; minimum of 1 year of experience with at least 1 travel assignment completed; ability to start IVs, insert Foley catheters, insert NG tubes, perform EKGs, and manage heparin drips; no specific education or degree requirements listed; experience with 1:6 patient ratio; available to start on 11/09/2026, with assignment ending on 02/14/2027.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a 1:6 patient ratio and high turnover.
• Additional Information: Rare float requirements, potential to float to inpatient rehab or ER; unit features include 48 beds, patient ratios of 1:6, and standard equipment such as EHR systems.
