Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Salt Lake City, Utah. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in an OR setting with a focus on orthopedic and robotic surgical procedures. The role entails supporting a high-volume surgical unit within a trauma-certified facility, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards during evening shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering comprehensive perioperative nursing care within a surgical setting, supporting a 13-bed OR unit that performs a wide range of procedures excluding LVADS, transplants, and pediatric cases under 14 years old.
• Certifications: RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
• Education Requirements: Active RN license.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in and support services in Utah.
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with da Vinci Robotics and orthopedic procedures; vascular experience is valued.
• Additional Information: The role involves flexible staffing with a need for candidates comfortable with a dynamic, trauma-rated environment. The position requires availability for 3 to 6 on-call shifts per month.
