Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Multiple Locations. This position involves delivering comprehensive patient care to adult and geriatric patients within a high-acuity ICU setting. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (must obtain prior to start) required.
• Education Requirements: Valid CA RN License.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of ICU experience; previous charge experience and charting system experience in Epic preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, arterial line management, chest tube procedures, medication administration, and monitoring for acute stroke and CVA patients.
• Additional skills needed include managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP, blood products, IV sedation, and interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with interdisciplinary support teams such as Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload valid certification documents and Nursys license verification within the last two weeks.
