Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing post-operative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in an acute care facility. Flexibility with scheduling and a minimum of one year of clinical experience in PACU are required to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required.
• Education Requirements: Not specified.
• Location Requirements: Must hold a valid state license; Compact license accepted.
• Years of Experience: At least 1 year of PACU or relevant clinical experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Job Information: Candidate must be flexible with start times and availability, work some variable shifts, and be prepared for full day assignments in PACU with no weekend or holiday shifts required.
• Responsibilities include monitoring airway status, managing Ports, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, medication administration, patient discharge instructions, and managing pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced outpatient surgery setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems, including Epic; prior outpatient and PACU experience.
• Note: No additional supervisory or managerial responsibilities specified.
