Job Details

• Position Description: Provide nursing care in the operating room for a 10-room surgical unit, including preoperative and postoperative patient management, within a full-service hospital that offers diverse medical and surgical specialties.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure/certification required to work as an RN in Virginia; ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications; 1-2 years of experience as an RN in the operating room; location requirements: candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility; schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Exhibits a high level of AORN standards; punctual, dedicated, team-oriented, with no drama.
• Additional Information: Previous OR experience preferred; scrub attire provided; no unacceptable attire such as unapproved fingernails per American Association of perioperative nursing guidelines.
