Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Clinical Nurse (CN) The organization is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The role involves providing evidence-based, patient-centered care, assessing patients' conditions, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective recovery.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Clinical Nurse (CN) is an RN responsible for hands-on care within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. The CN assesses patients, plans, implements, and evaluates care, and educates patients and families. The RN partners with family members to deliver family-centered care, monitors the quality of nursing services, and maintains professional development, including licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university, 0 years of experience, available for a day shift schedule, 10 hours shifts, and minimum 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or perioperative settings is beneficial.
• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse creates a healing environment, supports patient recovery through assessment and intervention, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. The RN is responsible for patient education, safety, and continuous improvement efforts relevant to patient care and safety standards.
