Medical Surgical Floor RN Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care on an acute care medical-surgical unit. The role requires managing patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, urosepsis, and AKI, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery.

Job Details

Position: Medical Surgical Floor RN
Specialty: Medical Surgical (MS)
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Start Date: 10/26/2026
End Date: 01/25/2027
Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS; 2 years of experience; licensure; 0 years of experience with a valid license; location flexibility not specified.
Responsibilities: Provide patient care in an acute care setting, manage patient conditions, collaborate with healthcare team, and maintain documentation in electronic medical records.
Additional Information: The unit includes nurse aides (PCTs), with a charge nurse supervising. RNs must be comfortable with ratios of 1:6/7, including potential float responsibilities based on census. Intermittent BIPAP equipment, remote telemonitoring, and EPIC charting systems are used.
