Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. This position is based in a 40-bed medical/surgical/pediatric unit with an average daily census of 28 patients. The role involves providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility with shift rotations, including every other weekend and holiday work.

Job Details

• Position: MedSurg RN
• Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
• Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: WI or compact RN License, AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, ADN or BSN degree, 2+ years of MedSurg experience, EPIC charting experience, willingness to float to similar units including IMC, Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Responsibilities include managing a patient ratio of up to 5 on days and evenings, and up to 7 on nights, effectively collaborating within the healthcare team, and demonstrating resilience and a positive attitude in a dynamic clinical setting
• Schedule: Rotating shifts with guaranteed hours, with on-call for low census hours, including during holidays and flu season
• Additional Information: The role demands a hard-working, resilient individual capable of managing change and working independently while collaborating with team members. All travelers will be scheduled for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours, with on-call hours counting toward this total. Flu and COVID vaccinations are required, and wearing masks is mandatory if declined vaccination during flu season.
