Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized cardiac electrophysiology and interventional procedures within a teaching, Level I Trauma acute care hospital. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other advanced cardiovascular interventions.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS preferred but not required; active Oregon State license or proof of application and fingerprinting required.
• Education/Experience: 1 year of experience in a clinical setting; Epic charting system experience required; minimum of 0 years of experience, with a preference for prior cardiac cath lab experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, including call responsibilities approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend per month, with potential for holiday call (12-hour shifts).
• Additional responsibilities include completing all assigned education within one week, adhering to local traveler policies, and participating in mandatory pre-start compliance activities.
• Requirements: Successful completion of Epic Test-Out, compliance documentation submission prior to start, and one professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager from the last year.
• Responsibilities encompass assisting with invasive cardiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining proficiency with specialized equipment such as Philips Azurion systems and electronic monitoring devices.
