Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in a healthcare facility. Job Details

• Certifications, Education, Degree Requirements, Location, and Experience: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), at least 1 year of experience, and recent operating room experience in a busy, large teaching hospital with 500 or more beds.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Position includes assisting registered nurses with tasks such as setup, breakdown, and unit duties, particularly in obstetric and gynecological procedures, including cesarean sections.
• Requirements: Must be able to scrub for cesarean sections and related gynecological procedures.
• Additional Information: This position is for assignments lasting 16-26 weeks. Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled, with the next available being on a Monday. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete work history is required for submission. Reliable transportation, including personal or rental vehicles, is strongly recommended, especially during November to April when vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires.
