Job Details

• Position Role: Operating Room Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Operating Room
• Location: Lafayette East, Indiana
• Schedule: Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 4 ten-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday with rotating days off.
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
• Required Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum Experience: 0 years (experience requirement: 0 years)
• Additional Information:
  • The unit has 10 operating rooms with various surgical equipment and EMR utilizing EPIC.
  • Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, with preferred skills including robotics training and vascular or open-heart experience (though not mandatory).
  • The role requires flexibility to participate in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a positive personality, adaptability, self-starting attitude, attentiveness, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • The first day involves reporting to the North Entrance, parking in yellow spots, and waiting in the surgery waiting room to meet the OR desk.
  • There may be educational modules to complete before the first shift.
