Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute care/Med-Surg observation unit. The role requires dedication to patient safety and excellence in clinical practice within a dynamic healthcare environment in the Colorado Mountains.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit RN's for Days. Our census is growing due to increase in Ortho surgeries, Hybrid Cath Lab procedures/surgeries, and acute/chronic illnesses.
• Certifications: Current RN License to work in Colorado. Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association. Current Flu Vaccine no exemptions.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med Surge/Telemetry or similar RN experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour day shift including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period (following VV s pay schedule) in place of guaranteed hours that week; if requested due to staffing needs.
• Additional Information:
  1. Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
  2. CAPS requirement: Applicants must comply with Colorado Department of Health guidelines.
  3. Ensure the correct SS# and DOB are inputted in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues.
  4. Guaranteed hours will NOT apply on holidays for clinic workers.
  5. Current Flu Vaccine required October 1st April 1st for all travelers. No exemptions.
