Job Summary
The facility is seeking a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Nurse for an assignment in the Transplant & Cellular Therapy unit. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapy, and bone marrow transplants within an oncology setting. The position offers a unique opportunity to support patients through complex treatments in a specialized unit.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License; ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification; BLS. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Unit Information: Oncology/Transplant & Cellular Therapy unit with 8 beds and a staff of 15.
• Required Skills: Chemo/Biotherapy administration experience, BMT/Bone Marrow transplant experience, Hematology experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Certified Nurse Certification (ONCC), ACLS certification.
• Responsibilities: Administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy, BMT procedures, blood administration, cardiac monitoring, and patient care in a high-acuity oncology environment.
• Additional Information: Must be compassionate, resilient, collaborative, detail-oriented, and a critical thinker with a team-focused approach.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
