The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse for a position located on the Gulf Coast. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with critical illnesses, including respiratory failure, kidney failure, COPD, congestive heart failure, and myocardial infarction. The ICU Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to required certifications and hospital standards.

Job Details

• Position: ICU Nurse
• Location: Gulf Coast
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS; Degree accreditation must be on profile or a minimum of five years of experience; 2 years of ICU experience required; EMR experience with Epic; Must meet experience and education requirements as specified.
• Additional Information: Prior travel experience preferred. Standard patient diagnosis includes respiratory failure, kidney failure, COPD, CHF, and MI. Typical patient ratios are 2:1. Travelers are expected to float to other campuses as needed. The facility emphasizes a culture of teamwork and expects travelers to function as core staff members. All demographic information must be loaded at submission; no RTO can be approved after submission. The deadline for document submission is Monday prior to the start date.
