Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, located in the specified healthcare facility, provides specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. This role involves circulating on cesarean sections, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and supporting neonatal care for a culturally diverse patient population. The position requires adaptability to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• Education Requirements: Valid state license (compact license accepted; pending license not accepted).
• Years of Experience: 1 year minimum required, including experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Location Requirements: Not specified.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk OB, circulating on cesarean sections, and neonatal care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional responsibilities include administering blood & blood products, assisting with amniocentesis, high-risk delivery assistance, sterile speculum exams, vaginal delivery, breastfeeding support, cervical cerclage, cesarean section, epidural anesthesia, postpartum hemorrhage management, fetal monitoring, and neonatal assessments.
• Candidates must have current ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications, and relevant Labor and Delivery experience.
• Required to provide two recent references covering at least one year of work during the last three years.
