Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry RN located at the facilitys medical-surgical unit. This position involves providing high-quality care to surgical and telemetry patients, with a focus on procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, bariatric surgeries, urology, spine, and gynecological procedures.

Job Details:

Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
Certifications and Education: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, valid RN licensure
Experience Requirement: 1 year of relevant experience preferred, minimum 0 years required
Additional Qualifications: Experience with surgical patients, support within the department, and proficiency with EMR systems such as EPIC; familiarity with monitors and equipment like Phillips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and capable of minimal floating to medical-surgical units, if needed
Responsibilities include providing patient care for surgical and telemetry patients, utilizing appropriate technology, and collaborating within a strong team environment.
Orientation: 2 days departmental orientation.
