Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing skilled nursing care during the night shift, primarily focusing on medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring. The role offers a set schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with responsibilities including patient assessment, medication administration, and ensuring patient safety within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Location: Not specified.
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing, proficiency with EMR Meditech, pumps Alaris, medications Omnicell, and adherence to the 100-mile radius rule.
• Preferred Qualifications: Step down experience is preferred but not required.
• Responsibilities: Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, utilize telemetry, and assist with patient assessments.
• Certifications: Current RN license.
• Additional Information: Flu vaccine required without exception. Up to three shifts may be canceled during the contract. Call rotations may be assigned during low census times with full-time staff. RTO requests are limited to no more than three days per 13-week contract. The facility may cancel shifts up to three times during the contract.
