Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse - MS REHAB at Wenatchee, WA. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a rehabilitation setting, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to unit standards of practice. The position requires working day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, starting November 2, 2026, through January 31, 2027.

Job Details

• Required to have a Washington State / Compact Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
• Required to maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Adheres to organizational policies and unit standards as applicable.
• Consistently functions within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act, unit-specific standards of practice, and remains current with legal aspects of nursing.
• Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and unit specific standards of practice.
• Develops, implements, and continually reassesses patients individualized plan of care.
• Provides nursing care for patients including administration of medications, completion of nursing procedures and/or treatments.
• Continual evaluation of discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and changes as needed.
• Documents care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Accurately collects patient information needed to provide safe, high-quality care.
• Completes holistic ongoing assessments of patients status and responds appropriately.
• Determines and completes appropriate nursing actions to meet care goals, including addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
• Teaches patient/family and/or significant others appropriate health information in a timely manner and shares written informational material.
• Actively maintains current knowledge basis of workflows, process, and evidence-based procedures.
• Delegates appropriately and oversees care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Participates in performance evaluation and process improvement activities with the clinical management team.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to hospital and unit policies.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
