Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position provides specialized perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves supporting various surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the operative process, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours on a 40-hour weekly basis.

Job Details

• Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), valid State license required.
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience required; experience with trauma, robotics, and specialized surgical procedures preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Support a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, general, gynecologic, urological, and robotic surgeries. Must be adaptable to float between units, including potential float to nearby facilities.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with surgical procedures and support at least 1 year of recent OR work. References covering 1 year within the past 3 years are required prior to start. All modules must be completed pre-start and during orientation, with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts. Candidates must work three of the five designated holidays and include RTO requests during submission.
