Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse specialization available in a healthcare facility setting. This position begins on December 14, 2026, with an assignment duration of 16 to 26 weeks. The role involves providing advanced patient care, including insulin and cardiac drips, and requires experience with Epic electronic medical record systems from within the past two years.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN for IMCU; must have some ICU/critical care experience and float to ICU on occasion. Responsibilities include starting IVs, managing insulin and cardiac drips, and post-cardiac cath care.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are required. Minimum of 1 year telehealth experience required. Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory. NY license or proof of application with applied date required at submission; processing time is 6-8 weeks.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements and Notes: Must work 2 out of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, New Years Day/Eve). Assignment requires all employment history details, including bed count, EMR used, and facility type. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during months of November through April.
• Submission Requirements: Employment gaps over 90 days should be explained.
