Operating Room (OR) Open Heart RN in a teaching acute care hospital setting. The role involves thoracic and cardiovascular surgeries, requiring specialized skills in cardiovascular procedures and experience with Epic electronic medical record system. This position is suited for professionals with a minimum of two years of OR and cardio-thoracic operating room experience seeking an engaging clinical opportunity.

Job Details

• Position/ Specialty: OR Open Heart RN required experience in CVOR, general OR, hybrid OR, and trauma surgery.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Experience & Education: 2 years of operating room experience, with a focus on cardiovascular surgery.
• Location Requirements: No specific local license required at submission; pending license accepted.
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (0700-1730), with options for 5x8s. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Willingness to float within scope to main OR as needed; on-call responsibilities for 2-3 days weekly; every other weekend required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical records is preferred.
• Travel Experience: Required.
