This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a 43-bed long-term care facility specializing in geriatric patients. The role requires managing patient needs during rotating 8-hour evening and night shifts, with the flexibility to float to a nearby facility as needed, supporting a team dedicated to high-quality elder care.

Job Details

• Position Description: LTC RN - 8-hour PM/NOC variable shifts at a long-term care facility.
• Required Qualifications: MN RN License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, at least 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience including 1 year in long-term care, Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing.
• Shift: Rotating 8-hour PM/NOC shifts, including evenings and nights, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, rotating between evenings and nights as scheduled.
• Additional Information: Must have COVID vaccination (exemptions considered). The unit operates with one nurse and two Certified Nursing Assistants during night shifts; days/evenings include a charge nurse. Candidate should be resilient, manage change well, and be capable of working independently and efficiently completing tasks.
• Submission Requirements: Candidate must initiate the medical compliance process within 48 hours of accepting the offer, or 24 hours for a quick start.
