Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Days Shift. This position involves providing holistic, individualized patient care within the ICU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions. The role emphasizes promoting quality outcomes and serving as a patient and family advocate to ensure excellent, satisfying care.

Job Details

• Licensure: California RN license
• Certifications: CPR, ACLS, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
• Education & Experience: At least three years recent RN experience in the RN role; at least two years recent RN experience in a specialty area
• Specialty: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Days shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications (CPR, ACLS, NIHSS), education, California RN license, experience as specified
• Additional Information: The role involves providing age-specific, culturally competent nursing care, implementing and evaluating patient care plans, and collaborating with healthcare team members. Must pass EKG exam at orientation. Float pool coverage may be required, with potential to float to ICU units or other facilities as needed.
