Job Summary
Labor and Delivery RN Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized care in high-risk perinatal services within a Level II NICU environment. The position supports comprehensive maternity services, including labor, antepartum, postpartum, and operating room procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license with at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery, current certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in facilities with 100 or more deliveries; familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Responsibilities: Provide high-quality maternity care, assist with high-risk deliveries and sterile speculum exams, monitor fetal and maternal status, manage postpartum and antepartum patients, and deliver emergency interventions as needed.
- Additional Information: Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience are preferred; prior experience with high-volume delivery facilities is advantageous. The position requires working holidays and includes guaranteed hours with possible call-off.
