Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D RN) Night shift located at a healthcare facility specializing in high-risk perinatal care. This position involves providing comprehensive maternity services in a Level II NICU environment, with responsibilities centered around labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum patient care. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
Job Details

- Shift: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 48 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the designated state, at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, certifications including BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling 200+ deliveries is ideal, though candidates with experience in facilities with 100-200 deliveries will be considered.
- Additional Responsibilities: Provide care for high-risk obstetric and neonatal patients, perform comprehensive fetal monitoring, assist with sterile vaginal exams, manage high-risk deliveries, support neonatal resuscitation, and collaborate with surgical teams during cesarean sections.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week.
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
- Call and Float: Call is not required; float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Must include responses regarding prior work at Providence facilities, with references covering 1 year during the last 3 years, and all scheduling/RTO requests submitted upfront.
