Job Summary
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare organization. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum processes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: RN required, BSN preferred, 2 years of experience required, PA Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors, actively participating in quality improvement efforts, utilizing research and evidence-based practice to support clinical care improvement, applying the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care, formulating daily goals and plans of care involving the patient as a partner, demonstrating critical thinking, practices solid communication skills, and creating a caring, compassionate patient-focused experience.
• Serves as a highly engaged team member, participates in work that improves patient care and the professional practice environment, demonstrates flexibility, and applies adult learning principles when teaching patients, families, and staff.
• Develops and maintains productive working relationships, demonstrates accountability, and understands cultural differences.
• Performs in accordance with system competencies and performs other duties as assigned.
