PACU Ambulatory (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) nurse position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing post-anesthesia care in a 24-bed unit, primarily supporting ortho and general surgery patients. It is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals with PACU (ICU/ER) experience seeking a temporary assignment with a flexible schedule.

Job Details

• Location: Not specified, working in a healthcare facility setting
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days (9 AM to 9 PM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); degree accreditation verification or five years of clinical experience; 2 years of PACU experience required, specifically with PACU (ICU/ER) background; experience in orthopedic and general surgery preferred; EMR: EPIC; prior travel experience highly preferred.
• Responsibilities: Providing postoperative care, supporting patient recovery after anesthesia, functioning as core staff in the unit, flexible with float duties, and adhering to hospital policies.
• Additional Information: Prior travel experience highly preferred. The role requires flexibility and compliance with a 50-mile radius rule. All demographic information must be uploaded at the time of submission.
