Operating Room Nurse (OR) Iowa
This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a hospital's operating room environment. The role requires coordinating and supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile techniques throughout operations. The opportunity is ideal for experienced OR nurses seeking a temporary assignment within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Details

Certifications: Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Education Requirements: Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required.
Degree Requirements: Valid nursing license.
Location Requirements: Iowa.
Years of Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience in a hospital or medical center setting required.
Specialty: Operating Room (OR).
Schedule: Rotating shift, 9.5 hours per day, minimum 38 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027.
Additional Responsibilities: Must have proficiency in ortho/orthopedics, neuro/neurology, general/GYN/Gynecology, and urology, podiatry. Experience with DaVinci robotics, EPIC charting, and scrub procedures preferred.
Submission Requirements: Work history/resume/employment history with 24 months of current operating room experience, specific skills checklist, active Iowa license, professional reference within 24 months, drivers license, and certifications required.
Schedule details include call schedule of one shift per week and every third or fourth weekend, with associated on-call bonuses.
No first-time travelers; minimum of three months of current travel experience within the previous 18 months required.
