Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Nights located in the area served by the organization. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have significant clinical experience, including trauma care, and be proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Job Details

• Position Description: The ER unit includes 55 beds plus additional swing beds and trauma bays. The department operates with a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, charge nurses, patient flow coordinators, EMS personnel, triage nurses, and protocol nurses. The ER handles over 250 patients per day, including critical cases such as STEMI, Stroke, DKA, Sepsis, and Trauma.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; minimum of 2 years of ER experience, 1+ year of trauma experience; must have prior travel experience; current license; at least 1 year of experience in a trauma center; ability to work night shifts (1900-0730); minimum of 36 hours per week; valid licensure and certifications are required to be eligible for submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system, trauma level 3 care, and familiarity with managing high acuity in diverse patient populations.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: All travelers will undergo orientation including ED leadership, badgeing, badging, and bedside orientation. Prior experience with EPIC and trauma care is essential. The unit emphasizes culturally competent care and teamwork.
