Operating Room (OR) Specialty RN in the healthcare system. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy surgical unit, supporting procedures such as gastrointestinal, robotics, general surgery, thoracic, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and plastics. The role requires expertise in circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Travel OR/Gastrointestinal RN
• Shift: Evenings, 5x8-hour shifts, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 11/09/2026
• End Date: 02/08/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in the relevant nursing specialty, active nursing license, minimum of 2 years GI experience, ability to scrub for GI, robotics, general surgery, thoracic, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and plastics procedures.
• Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves floating to different units as needed, call coverage approximately 5 days per 4-week period, and holiday coverage as required. The RN must be proficient in scope cleaning, circulating, and scrubbing for various surgical procedures. The facility uses Cerner EMR and supplies hospital-provided scrub colors.
