Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical registered nurse for night shifts. The role involves providing patient care in a 32-bed medical/surgical unit with diverse case types including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and general surgery. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on resilience and adaptability.

Job Details

Location: Stevens Point, WI
Position: Med/Surg RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks starting 11/02/2026, ending 01/30/2027
Certifications: WI or compact RN license, AHA or ARC BLS
Education: ADN or BSN required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Surgical Nursing, preferably with ortho experience; 1 completed travel assignment required
Required Skillset: 2+ years Med/Surg, Ortho experience; Epic charting experience required
Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Float: Float rotation may be required, including to Riverview, Plover, and Divine Savior units
Additional Information: Candidates should be hard-working, resilient, and adaptable to change. Scrubs can be any professional-colored attire. During Flu Season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per policy.
Submission Instructions: Candidates must possess a current WI or compact RN license, and BLS certification upon application.
