Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse
• Location: Corpus Christi, TX
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN certification, active license in Texas, 1+ years of recent acute med/surg experience, ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Neuro patients (CVA, TIA, AMS), neuro/neuro-surgery, ortho background, 2+ years of related experience, med/surg/telemetry background
• Additional Responsibilities: Providing standard nursing care such as IV insertions, urinary catheter maintenance, central line care, medication administration, documentation in electronic health record systems, continuous bladder irrigation, NGT insertion and maintenance
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have current RN licensure and appropriate certifications upon application.
