Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Nights Aspirus Iron River, MI. This position involves providing general nursing care primarily to geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes. The role requires adaptability to work across multiple departments within a 25-bed Med/Surg unit, with a focus on high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical Floor RN with a specialty in Medical Surgical Nursing.
• Location: Aspirus Iron River, MI.
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Michigan Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, Associate Degree or Certificate. Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records, CareScape patient monitors, and Pyxis is required. Candidates with both Med/Surg and Emergency Department experience are highly preferred. The unit is a 25-bed facility with patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 during night shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working in a float capacity to the Emergency Department within their competency. Scrubs may be any color. Candidates should be able to start on 11/02/2026 and remain until 01/30/2027.
