Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week; weekends as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications; at least 2 years of emergency room experience; registered nurse qualification; ability to adapt to changing emergency room acuity and census; navy scrubs required; no visible tattoos; hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back; gel and acrylic nails are not permitted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with the electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: The emergency department has 67 beds and typically maintains a 4:1 patient ratio. The position may involve working with multidisciplinary emergency department staff and supporting patient care needs across varying acuity levels.
