Job Summary
A Step Down Unit RN position is available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized care to patients requiring intermediate monitoring and treatment, with a focus on skills in step down, medical-surgical, or telemetry acute care. The position requires delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities tailored to the unit's greatest needs.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: 2 years PCU (Progressive Care Unit) or Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience; RN licensing and certification as required by state; travel experience and EPIC system knowledge preferred.
- Responsibilities include providing patient care on a step down unit, potentially floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed.
- Certifications: RN license with Step Down (PN) specialty exam and skills completed.
- Submission requirements: License verification, professional references, clinical skills checklist, and compliance with credentialing process.
- Additional information: Will be placed on units where greatest need exists; must be flexible to float within skill set or to nearby sites.
