Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Phoenix area. Job Details

• Location: Phoenix area
• Position Description: The RN maintains quality care by following the nursing care plan, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. The role involves performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, initiating discharge planning, and delivering patient education. The RN communicates patient status effectively, documents accurately, and participates in team activities to foster a positive work environment.
• Certifications and Education: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift; Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired; 0 years of experience required; Location requirements include Phoenix/relocation as applicable.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN will actively pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study, support unit team building efforts, and follow hospital safety policies to ensure both patient and staff safety.
