Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse in en_US This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. The role requires assisting physicians during surgical procedures that involve advanced cardiac and vascular interventions within a healthcare facility setting.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or a compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Minimum of one year RN experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This role involves assisting during complex surgical procedures that require specialized skills in cardiac and vascular care, including the use of cardiopulmonary bypass machines, trans-esophageal echocardiogram studies, cardiac output assist devices, and vascular interventions. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
