PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) Centennial, CO. Job Details

Position: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) RN
Location: Centennial, CO
Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
Start Date: 11/30/2026
End Date: 03/01/2027
Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN), minimum of 1-year current PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), Valid state license, and at least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of PT/OT instructions for Joint patients, comfort with bedside teaching, experience with total joint procedures, sports medicine, foot/ankle, podiatry, hand, nerve cases, general surgery (hernias, laparoscopic appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy), and breast procedures including plastic reconstruction.
Responsibilities: Provide post-operative and recovery care, assist with patient monitoring, perform bedside assessments, and collaborate with surgical teams. Call for PACU coverage may be required 1-2 shifts per week, primarily Monday through Thursday, with additional coverage during weekends and holidays as needed.
