This role involves caring for patients in the recovery room post-operation, across a diverse patient population, including both pediatric and adult patients, within a multi-specialty surgery center. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment requiring experienced nursing skills in Phase I and Phase II recovery care.

Job Details

• Position: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse
• Location: Healthcare facility in the area
• Certifications and Education: Illinois license, CPR, ACLS, preferred PALS, minimum of 2+ years of experience in PACU or similar setting required
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 11/15/2026
• End Date: 12/27/2026
• Experience Requirements: 2+ years of PACU experience in Phase I and II care
• Work Environment: Recovery room caring for post-operative patients involving procedures under MAC, General, Local, and IV sedation; diverse case types including Cataracts, GI, Pain, Sports Medicine, Hands, and Podiatry, with patients ranging from 11 months to 100 years old
• Additional Information: Will be working in a multi-specialty surgery center, performing both Phase I and II in the same bay, ensuring comprehensive post-op patient care.
